Did You Vote For This?
Is this correct?
Trump believes that if the truth about American history is taught and discussed, it is tantamount to slandering the founders of this country and not presenting an uplifting story of America?
Uh... he's in for quite a ride. True American history is here to stay.
Let's ask those folks who think true American history is uncomfortable about this guy. Is he a person who uplifted America with his actions in the 1950s and 1960s?
Yes, he was in Birmingham, Alabama.
Slavery wasn't bad - it was an absolute horror! No amount of stupid social media posts will erase that fact! Also, keep in mind that this is nothing more than another distraction. The current occupant of the Oval Office DOES NOT want to talk about the Epstein files, so he and his acolytes continue to post nonsense. It's not going to work. #TeachTruth
If you support the Confederacy and all that comes with it, you couldn't possibly support whitewashing the history of enslaving Black people in America. You can't have one without the other. The right to enslave Blacks was the cornerstone of the Confederacy's existence. Can you hear us, Jillian Michaels?
Where do you think the Trump Administration (probably Stephen Miller) got the idea to separate immigrant children from their families?
If you said the destruction of Black enslaved families, you are correct!
The point of destroying the family unit is the cruelty involved. Ripping children away from their parents, at the auction block, during a vehicle stop, or outside of a courtroom, is to inflict some of the worst psychological
agonies in families that one could ever experience.
It's all part of the racist blueprint crafted by this administration. The attempt to whitewash American history would obscure this observation. White supremacists did/do not want anyone other than themselves to participate in fully achieving the "American Dream." #TeachTruth
FL politicians voting for this nonsense prove they are unserious about their jobs. Not one voter sent them to Tallahassee for this; they are supposed to improve the lives of their constituents. This ain't it. Stop bending the knee to the wannabe autocrat and be about the people's business!
You will find the latest opinions from Uncomfortable American History here!
Don't be surprised when Americans do the America on Election Day. The uncomfortable truth is that America was built on the backs of Blacks and other non-white people. Add a heaping hunk of racism, misogyny, and White nationalism, and we can't be surprised at the election results.
Be careful what you vote for because you will get the country you deserve. Also, a number of you out there need to tell the truth. You did not vote for Trump because of economic issues. It is simple. You voted for someone who will "protect" your perceived white privilege.
If you think you are immune from Project 2025's proposed policies, think again. If you believe tariffs won't affect you, think again. Trump doesn't give a damn about you; he never has. You fell for his lies, and you and your families will suffer. But this is what you voted for.
But don't think for a moment that people will stop speaking truth to power. We are not Jeff Bezos; we shall continue to speak out against anything the incoming administration does that hurts Americans. Start by reading Timothy Synder's book "On Tyranny."
American history will not suffer from whitewashing; we shall continue to #TeachTruth!
Buckle up, everyone; we will get through the next four years!

Based on recent social media posts, a significant number of people either need to brush up or start to learn about civics. It is astounding to see people posting (especially on Twitter/X) who appear to know little about how our system of government works. #MakeCivicsGreat Let's start here!
Did you know that George Washington's false teeth were not made of wood? They were made of a combination of ivory, animal, and human teeth. The picture explains more. (Picture from Washington's Headquarters, Newburgh, N.Y.)
